How are you coping during this gray period?⁣ Health is a top priority at this time, but finances have to be monitored as some workplaces struggle to stay afloat. We’ve decided to make some changes to prepare for this period.⁣

Budget Reevaluation: Reduce the money set aside for wants and made some preparedness purchases, which include food, basic essentials, and medication. ⁣

Stop non-essential deposits/payments/purchases: Some of our sinking funds were in place for travel and celebrations, but we decided to pause them for the moment and stockpile this money for any emergencies that may arise.⁣

Stay Updated: Follow the instructions and tips given by our government and the World health organization. There are too many “cooks in the kitchen” sharing their views on what should be done to protect oneself, and not all sources are legit.⁣

Help each other: my wife had a great idea to give away some food vouchers to people in need. This is one of the great things about being debt-free. You can help someone in need in times like this. I’m not sure how to go about this as yet, but you can share your views and suggestions in the comments. ⁣
